I thought I saw a thread like this, but couldn't find it. So if this a double post, my apologies!

Can you guys with DIB mustangs post up your wheel pics? Kind of torn on which way I want to go. I was originally planning on 15/17 welds rts (black) setup. But kind of thinking I want a full size wheel. I have the oppritunity to trade my welds for 19x11 forgestar f14s. But just wanting to see what else is out there.

Thanks!

Your car is why I wanted welds. And DIB lol. Making me want to keep the welds.

Jvibe, thanks. One thing I don't like about black wheels. They don't really pop in pics. In person they look alittle better. Except the welds.

If I went different wheels, I'd want to go either silver, polished or gunmetal.

Im in the same boat. I love the black and polished welds on Pickles car. I have about 30-40 pics of DIB cars Ive collected and nothing really hits me...I was thinking of getting some AMRs or RTRs and powder coating them red or bronze just to be different. black wheels on this color just seem to darken it too much and not make the paint pop like it should. thats why I like the welds. I wish the welds came in a 18x7 instead of the 18x5 or 18x9.5 that would be perfect. if you are looking for drag style wheel racestar is coming out with a different color for the star wheels but the sizes are limited to drag only setups...

on a side note pickles do you have water spot issues or hazing on the welds? Ive heard you need to really be on top of cleaning the polished parts to keep them looking good. Ive also heard that you can get them coated from weld to help prevent oxidation.

I've had mine for over a year now with no issues at all, haven't even polished them. Still look nearly brand new, but i'll probably give them a quick polish in the spring to give it a little more shine.

Thanks guys, those AMRs look good! I'm usually not a big fan of them, but looks great man.

I'm very picky, I want a wheel that I think looks good (obviously) and something not real heavy. I was almost leaning towards forgestar f14s in 18" But I'm not a huge fan of 18" wheels on these cars.

I think I'll go with what makes the most sense which will be welds. I already have the rears. Need the fronts, I'll go 17x7. Then maybe I'll eventually try something different. I saw a set of velgen vmb8s in silver on DIB that looked killer. Lot of good choices, but for now I think I'll go welds.
