Hey, everyone. I haven't been to the track in almost two years (since selling my 135i) until fellow forum member VenomGTX and I went to Carolina Dragway this past Thursday. I went with my H/C/I/E A6 LS2 Corvette and VenomGTX with his light bolt-on S550 GT (both of us on street tires). Mods for my car, built and tuned by Spartan LSX, include:
- Advanced Induction ported stock (799) heads
- Spartan LSX spec'd Cam Motion cam
- FAST 92 intake manifold
- VaraRam Intake
- TSP 1 7/8 headers and x-pipe
- C6Z Borla Stingers

Temperature was in the mid 80s, humidity at 88%, and the DA was around 2700ft when we did our runs. On to the results! I went 12.34 at 119mph with a 2.19 60ft on my first pass. I then had three straight 11.9x at 121.xmph runs with 1.9x 60ft times. The first three passes were solo, last one was against a gutted Civic hatch where I cut a .063.

Others' best times or trap speeds for comparison:
- Light-bolt on M6 S550 GT ~ 110mph
- Stock auto Grand Sport ~ 109mph
- Stock auto 392 Charger Super Bee ~ 105mph
- Stock auto CTS-V coupe ~ 12.8x and 110mph on separate runs
- Gutted Integra on R888s ~ 13.0x
- Also, there was an S197 5.0 with drag radials (still had Carmax tags) who I think went mid to high 12s; there was a 5th Gen (seemed stock) and a 6th Gen Camaro (drag pack) as well but am not sure on their times

Didn't really know what to expect with my set-up, but am really happy with how my car ran that night comparatively speaking. Just waiting on cooler weather now to see if I can hit mid 11s and trap in the 125mph range.

Nice, LS cars respond incredibly to H/C/I.
I'm just starting to get in the modded LS world, plan on doing some wicked stuff to my Silverado if the 5.3 blows. Is the Fast 102 too much for your current set up? Are you running your stock converter?

That they do, great gains even with just a cam and light bolt-ons as well. I'm guessing turbo plans for the Silverado?

My builder/tuner and I discussed it extensively... he noted the FAST 92 would be perfect for our goals and a FAST 102/NW102 throttlebody combo would better fit a bigger cube set-up. Still on the stock converter as well.

No turbo. C5Z LS6 H/C/I/E with a good converter.

Can't go wrong with that, really good gains can be had with ported 243 heads.

I would look at a MSD Atomic Air Force intake manifold also. This is what I'm looking at for my 2005 Convertible

It seems most info/feedback for the MSD intake are from LS7 guys. Let me know what kind of gains you get from them, might switch to those if I end up going with a stroker.

Nice times!! Pretty equivalent to my runs w 2013gt with a paxton supercharger and low timing/tame tune. I almost went to corvette route and did what you did. I decided on the mustang instead.
