Hey guys,

Having a bit of a problem here and need advice. I'm having trouble getting my 26 spline to meet into my pilot bearing. All new parts, I believe the grease is causing no air to escape and is actually pushing the transmission out when I install.

I was told to try to use emery cloth on the tip. Any suggestions? Or advice welcomed.

The green scotch bite pads for polishing the shaft and keep working on the alignment, it's usually the guide pins, look at the gap between the trans and engine should be the same top too bottom

Did you do a clutch? What kind of alignment tool did you use? Only a steel tool would work for me (on one of my cars). The plastic tool was no bueno.

Best of luck with it.
