Got a problem with what may be my l&m 65mm throttle body.
  • Goes into limp mode after driving 10 miles or sooner, check engine light comes on has no acceleration response (Dead pedal) Code p2112. Turn car off start it back up and drive on till it happens again...
  • I put my stock t-body back on it and have no problem.
  • My question, is there any way to have this t-body repaired? or is it now an expensive paper weight....

Are you reusing the TB sensor & motor or does the L&M have it's own? If your reusing these items then you now know they are good. That would leave the TB which is strickly mechanical & if throttle opens & closes freely then for the most part it should be ok. You do have a tune for your 65mm, correct? I've got to ask.

If you haven't already I would take the following readings off your OBDII port. The PIDS maybe a little different on you 2010 but should be close. Now that your stocker is back in try taking the following PID info:

(Note: this is from my '07)
THROTTLE POSITION
Stock:

TP1_V: 4.121
TP2_V: 1.221
TP_ACT TROTTLE ANGLE MEASURED: 7.38:
TP_DSD DESIRED: 7.63
TP: 17%
TP_B 24%
TP_R 5%

4/2/18
Whipple install:

TP1_V: 4.170 Throttle Position Sensor #1 Voltage
TP2_V: 1.133 Throttle Position Sensor #2 Voltage
TP_ACT TROTTLE ANGLE MEASURED: 7.06
TP_DSD Throttle Angle DESIRED: 7.63
TP: 16% Absolute Throttle Position
TP_B 22% Absolute Throttle Position B
TP_R 5% Relative Throttle Position

You will have to put your 65mm TB back in and take the readings again. This is all done with the engine off, key turned on to communicate with your PCM. If anything this gives you a reference point for how your TB's static settings are set.

Good Luck!

Both T Body's use the same sensor's.
I bought the car with the mods (T B) already on the Shelby.
So i can only assume the car is tuned for the 65 mm T body.
I will pull up those pids and do a compare.
Thank you for reply.
