I just found the video of one of my runs during tuning :D

You talking about Ben Calimer's build? What compression is yours?

Mine is stock 11:1 compression

I think Sean may be referring to my build. I too am building a max effort na coyote. Granted, Sean has quite a few more cubes than me, as mine will only be 304 ci. My setup consists of the following:

304 ci
Boss crank
Molnar rods
Mahle pistons/12.5:1 compression
Boss oil pump w/billet opg's
Coated Clevite main and rod bearings
Billet crank sprocket
Boss primary and secondary tensioners and timing chains
ARP everything
Stage 3 heads with larger ferrea valves and springs
Custom specced cams
Ported cobra jet intake and scj tb w/jlt cj cai
1-7/8 longtubes w/orx
E85

I'm sure there's some I'm forgetting, hut there's the bulk of it. I'm waiting for my heads to be finished now. Shortblock is done.

Yes sir I was! Should be a pretty wicked setup for sure!

With that extensive of a build, what made you keep compression so moderate? The numbers are impressive and I love the direction you took!

Thank you! :)

Everything we did to the motor was for the safety of the engine. These conversations are from December of 2014 so I may be remembering some things, bu since this will be running on 93 98% of the time and E85 or FTW on the track we decided not to push it with upping the compression. We even sleeved the block on a NA motor for a little bit of extra protection, we did gain an extra 9 CI out of it but by the same token we strengthened the cylinders and they should not distort or come out of round over time because of this. Mostly everything on the internals I beefed up in order to try and prevent anything from breaking or causing me to loose the motor again.

How did this build go? I’m doing a very similar build on my 15 and am looking at those same Mahle 12.5:1 pistons. Any feedback you’d care to share?

I was wondering if anyone tested the RGR 344ci from jpc yet. Would love to see the N/A numbers on that .
