My supercharger turned off and one while driving

I was on the freeway and was driving normally when I decided to go WOT and I heard the whine but then is sounded like it shut down and then turned off then on again. So at wot the supercharger was glitching i guess and felt the truck wanted to turn off, what could it be?

Your suoercharger cant turn off. It's mechanically driven. I need a better description of your issue

Did you hear and belt slip?

Or you may have a problem with the by-pass valve and/or lines connecting to it.
