Whats the rest of the setup? A local guy that put down 470-480 on a CJ setup that has been breaking hearts on the streets left and right only got 121 in ok weather. Never got it again. Hes got a decent bit of weight reduction and drivetrain mods. So I hope your track is at sea level, DA is <1000 and you can drive well.

Not going to trap anywhere near 125 with those mods. Nope.

Is OP car auto or manual?

Driver mod... could be.

However, having owned an mt82 car-- I assure you the GT500 shifts 10x better than your mt82.

Been there done that.

I have 100 more HP than you and id be shocked if my car trapped 120.

But hey... if you trap higher with less HP, you have definitely been to FAR more rodeos than me!

you dont trap 120 with 570hp? normally phase 1 cars which are the "weakest" S550s power wise putting down 540-560whp trap around 123-126 depending on track conditions at stock curb weight.

Get it checked out? After it dynoed 550+?

I'd bet its fine.

The point is 470 whp in a manual s550 wont get you to 125 mph. Hell.. i dont think an auto would do it either. Auto would be closer though.

I'd big the differ..but everyone has the own opinion ,and yes with that power you would have to be spinning a quarter of the track to not pull 120

A good driver can do a lot with less power though... who knows. Maybe you'll get there!

Let us know.
