i liked night shift on deployment, i am on days into nights and i hate it. can't do anything with the family because son is in school and then asleep when i get home.

The company I used to work nights at used to call the second shift the relationship killer.

I'm dealing with this currently. I work primarily 250pm to 1120pm. I haven't had a day off however in 19 days. I average 22 hours a week in overtime and I wake up every morning at 530am by my son who loves to get up early and I take care of him until I take him to day care at noon. So, same thing everyday and it's wearing me down. Just trying to keep my eyes on the prize; that being paying off my truck since that's the only vehicle left that I owe on and then start to save for other stuff.
