guys,

my rear end is leaking and I want to top it off. I can't get any access to the top fill plug, it's ridiculously tight. any tips to be able to refill this? ???

I have to assume it is leaking from the cover. Why not take the cover off and reseal the cover instead of just adding more fluid?

You fill from the fill plug, not many tips to give you.

Once I was able to get both plugs out using hex sockets in conjunction with combination ratchets, but it was a real pita, esp with the exhaust in the way. Then it was like twice as hard to reseal them properly when I reinstalled. Might as well take the catback off.

When I installed my cover I used a lube locker gasket. It started leaking it wasn't the gasket but mine was I was getting the wrong torque reading only bolts because I was using metric instead of standard. All the bolts are accessible without the diff removed. I used a cheap small hand set and was able to achieve it. You may have to remove the tailpipes though.
