Has anyone seen, heard of, or done this? I was planning on having my exhaust shop fab a custom h-pipe to replace that factory box resonator on my 2017 mustang after they install my GT500 axlebacks. Then I figured when not just make it simple and replace it with the straight lengths of pipe with no cross over. My question is, will this cause any ill-effects or result in the loss of torque or horsepower? I assumed so as thinking back to the S197 coyote, there had to be a reason Ford used a cross over style pipe on the 2011-2014 cars. Just figured I would see what everyone else thought.
