Which O/R pipe with flowmasters?

Looking into getting either a O/R h or x pipe and wanted to know which sounds best with flowmaster mufflers.

I have an O/R x w/ 2 chamber flowmasters & it sounds awesome.

DO NOT BUY BBK OFF ROAD X PIPE WITH FLOWMASTERS!!!!
I made that mistake, it sounded like crap. The combo of 40 series
muffers and the wierd X design don't work well together.
It crackled and popped on decel REALLY bad.
I added 2 hi flow cats and it sounded great. The UPR and similar designs
sound great without cats, with flowmasters.:beer:

X1000. I have a BBK H paired with original 40's and it sounds amazing. I find the Prochamber has a nice tone as well but way too quiet for an offroad pipe.

agreed. i have a bbk o/r x on my 96 gt and with the 40 series it sounded way too tingy and almost like a V6. get a upr or pypes x pipe

BBK H with chambered mufflers. With 2 chamber Flows, it sounds like an old-school musclecar.

General rule of thumb for me. With a chambered muffler the h always sounds better. With a straight through muffler the x will sound better. Hope this helps!

The only problem is that I don't know if I have two chamber or straight through mufflers. I bought the car already with flowmaster mufflers installed and I have no idea what kind or series or anything

Not sure that Flowmaster makes anything but chambered mufflers.
