Does Cox not offer a wireless cable box? I know ATT and Directv have wireless boxes.

Yes, you will lose quality. The question is whether or not it's perceptible.

Are any of your devices Miricast enabled? Microsoft sells a dongle for $50 or so that I use from my surface. So far it's streamed everything I've thrown at it. The only options I've ever seen that actually work worth a darn are rather expensive.

Ya I have the Roku for streaming from my phone or computer. I need to get the cable signal from the wall to the box(coaxial) or the box to the TV(hdmi)
