Got the call today

My 2013 GT500 is in!

Ordered June 1st, built August 8th, arrived at dealer today.
Picking it up this Saturday.

Car has SVTPP and Recaros.
Replacing my 2011 GT500 (sold with only 1400 miles on the clock).
Think it is a worthwhile upgrade.

My last one was Black with stripe delete.
I wanted more contrast this time, so went Black on Black.

What do you guys think ?

Great News DGDOC. I ordered 19 days after you, so that may mean mine is almost up?! I am still waiting on a VIN though, and why does the plant have to close!?!?(IknowRetooling)UGHH!
I am working on the road right now. From NYC to Boston to Annapolis. I am in Annapolis this week and everyweekend. I have a business at the Maryland Renaissance Festival in Crownsville. Would love to see the car! You lucky dog. If everything goes right in this PERFECT world!!HA, I will have mine just before Halloween. I live in Orlando so as soon as this Festival is over, I am home for the winter with my awesome Family and my Beautiful Toys!!

My 2011 was nice, but to be honest (coming from a C6Z06) was looking for something a little faster. (Best time of [email protected] bone stock, stock tires).

Expect that the '13 will be able to match the performance of the C6Z06 and think it is an absolutely gorgeous car that will maintain it's appeal and good looks for years to come.

I've done the Corvette thing and now looking forward to enjoying and learning about the GT500.

My bone stock (with stock tires) C6Z ran 11.42@125 (Good for #8 on Corvette Forum "Fast List").

Would be nice if someone established a similar list on SVT Performance for pure stock GT500's.
