Hello folks,

as promised here is my review of the latest products I bought from Revan Racing.

MRT Off Road H-Pipe:

The MRT Off Road H-Pipe gives the 2013 GT500 a deeper exhaust note while still retaining the stock tone of the exhaust which I feel is the best sounding stock exhaust of any vehicle out there. I wanted to keep the tone, just needed a bit more base and growl to it and the off road H-Pipe certainly provided that. The only negative things I experienced so far is a slight raspy rattle on initial gas pedal depress that I get for a split second and the fact that the exhaust tips now are extended by about 1/2 inch. Other than that, the fit and finish is good and the install went smoothly according to my installer.

The Shifter Bushings:

I opted for the front and rear KR bushings and my installer said that one of the bushings needed to be shimmed a bit for clearance. Other than that, the install was completed in a timely fashion and the biggest news of all is that I HAVE NO MORE 2ND GEAR GRIND! I am extremely happy with this as I love the stock shifter and didn't really want to swap out to a barton or MGW unit. I am glad that the bushings fixed this issue for me at a fraction of the cost.

Here is a video of review for those interested.

I did not do the install on either myself but my install guy stated that the bushing install is straight forward. You follow the same process as if you are switching out to an aftermarket shifter. You are simply replacing the bushings and reinstalling the stock shifter in the end. You will need to jack up the car hence the reason I went to an installer for this. I have no access to lifts and since the H Pipe needed the car to be in the air anyway, I killed 2 birds with 1 stone.

From some of the install pictures it looked a little bit tricky but I will admit I do not like the 1-2 or 3-4 feel at all in stock form.

Great Video. Thanks for taking the time to do this man. I have quite a few runs that were ruined at the strip due to that damned 1-2 issue (and even 2-3 occasionally). I will definitely do this now.

Thanks again!

Nice info. People underestimate the sound of the stock with o/r H I think. As for the bushings, have you tried a fast 1-2 shift? That's the only time mine grinds. The way you shifted in the video is how I have to shift mine at the track in order not to grind.

Sounds fantastic. I've really been considering that midpipe and this makes it even harder. That being said I have a 2014 and I've tried some 6500+ RPM shifts and I have no 1-2 or 2-3 grinding. I also only have 3300 miles. Is this something that comes on later or have people had this from day one? When I eventually do mod I would rather drop everything off to get done at one time. I usually have the if it ain't broke mentality but if I can expect this I might as well get it knocked out.

Only issue was the tips stuck out further than stock, but muffler shop can trim to correct that. Unless you are in to do it yourself stuff,,,I highly recommend having the exhaust done by a shop. Just ask BITTDIFFERENT his take on do-it-yourself header install. Very pleased with final outcome.

ARH fit great and seem to be a quality product.
