Drew (01bluesnake) had done a ton of header swaps on 5.0's. The only ones he doesn't have trouble with or need to weld a new bung on to were the kooks. Kooks has fitment down to the T and the firing order is perfect which is why there are great gains. ARH, Stainless Works and Kooks are the way to go IMO.

I installed ARH a few months ago and the fit was outstanding. Sorry I don't have any dyno numbers, but went from offroad x that I ran for a little while to ARH 1-7/8" with Magnaflow spun cats and the car definately felt faster even with adding cats back in. (plus dat sound.... )

I might dyno mine at some point, but there won't be any before numbers, so...

My Pypes long tubes fit perfectly (although I did have to cut out the goofy flex tube in the x-pipe eventually), but I have had wideband issues on E85 even after relocating the sensors.

I went with speed master headers. Pypes knock offs with surprisingly good quality for the price. I may not run e85 because of the sensor issues I hear about.

Just have them relocated before install. Mine went in about 100 miles before I had them relocated. After having them moved (pointed back and down as much as we could) I got about 10 events out of them before one went. When one goes I replace both, but will likely start replacing them twice a year.

Car is driven very hard and the exhaust drags a bit at some of the events we do, so that could possibly contribute to the failure. Shaun@Aed told me to relocate from the beginning should have listened. Much easier to do off the car.

I used these bungs and haven't had issues. I run Shaun's tune and I think he turns off or down the 02 sensor heaters to help. I haven't had any 02 sensor go out on his tune with the speedmaster headers, bungs and e85.

Yeah, I can't really be sure what caused the second failure with mine. Even if I have to change them twice a year it is still worth it.

I need to find a dyno near by and just got make a couple pulls. Then go back after. I think I'll stay 93 until it's not a dd or more becomes available. I travel a decent amount .

I am looking forward to your results. Please post them in a new thread. I know I will have to hop on the bandwagon and install long tubes one day.

So you can pick up basically as much with the kooks shorties as the LT ?

Kooks are considered long tube, but are mid-length. They have some of the highest gains I've seen even not being a true long tube compared to actual long tube header setups.

Well I'm posting my before long tube graph.
Cai, Mike Rousch tune, gt500 ab and no resonators . Only performance mods cai/tune

I'll be getting headers installed the 27th and will hopefully get a dyno session shortly after.

After mods will be:
Speedmaster LT, Pyps off road X, revised MR tune, gt500 quads and jpc ota pipes.
