Seems like the NA life is dying more and more. It's so easy to go turbo auto and fly in these cars so I definitely see why. I plan on taking this car as far as I can SBE NA with a stick. Post your setups or builds in here to help me and maybe the very few other guys go faster. My setup now is below:

5" Rev Auto CAI
SCJ Monoblade TB
Ported CJ IM
Stage 3 NA cams
Billet crank gear
Billet OPG's
JBA 1-7/8 longtubes
Open off road x pipe
47lb Inj
All BMR suspension
Tubular K member
A-arms
Upper and lower control arms
Lowering springs
Viking Double Adjustable shocks
Front lightweight bumper support
Rear seat delete
RPM stage 5 Magnum
MGW shifter
REM'd lightened 4:88s
Aluminum DS
Spec 2+ hybrid clutch aluminum flywheel
Welded axle tubes
Rapptor shift light
17/15 Darkstars
Stiffwall slicks
AED E85 tune

The car has been 11.0@126 in +750-950 DA depending what app you used. I only got 2 passes and they booted me. The car really needs a 5:14 gear. HP tuners just got these computers to pull to 8500 but are working on the shift issue past 8k. If they fix that I will for sure go 5:14. I don't wanna switch to switch back because REM'd lightened gears are expensive and take a month to get. I firmly believe it has a 10.9x@127 the way it sits on a good day. I haven't had the car on the dyno but I am guessing it makes between 490-500. Race weight is 3620.

Future plans:

EWP
Pulley
Built lightweight rear end
Lighter wheels
Lighter brakes
Lighter seats
RGR/JPC Stage 3 ported heads.

End goal is low 10s at 133-135.....530-550rwhp through 4:88s. Hope to get race weight in the 32xx range.

I am planning on going the full N/A route, but will be building the rest of the car to be road course capable. I won't be competing, but I do love HPDE and track days. I'll probably throw a set of slicks on at some point just to see what I can do on the strip, but not until I'm prepared to replace my torsen...

Right now I'm just at 406whp with o/r H, airad CAI and Lund tune. (12.6 @ 115 on michelins) I have the headers on order.
Currently on Koni Yellows / BMR handling springs, BMR rear control arms. Not sure if this will stay enough or not.

Build list is something like:
Ported CJ w/monoblade
Undecided Intake
ARH 1-3/4 Headers w/ OR H
undecided cams
head/valve job
OPGs
MGW Race spec (currently just have regular mgw)
undecided clutch / lightened steel flywheel
BMR watts
Brake cooling ducts
Tiger Racing Hood

Shooting for as close to 500 as we can get on 93 pump. I'll add torco on track days just for safety.
I'm building it piece by piece, doing the "easier" things first as I have the spare cash.

I should be dropping my car off tomorrow to JPC for the motor install. If they can get me 580 on E85 I will be happier than a weiner dog on stilts!!

Right now the motor consists of:

Big Bore Block
11.3:1 compression
Stage 2 RGR heads
RGR custom grind cams
CJ Intake SCJ TB
JLT Intake
TSS gears
MPR Racing Engines Crank gear
MPR Racing Engines Heavy Duty Secondary Chains
Kooks 1 7/8ths long tubes
Kooks Green Cats for emissions
JPC Alternator Pulley
I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting as well. It is all in my build thread in the Boss section though.

My set up is very similar except for the cams and was wondering about the 4.88's. I don't know how tall your slicks are but the stock 3.73's seem ideal for that trap speed in 4th gear on 28" tires.

Doesn't seem to many on this forum that are into the NA stuff; most of them seem to be on the Coyote FB group though. Ben Calimer's car impresses the hell out of me (plus he can drive unlike me).

This one too:

Want to get mine to this point one day! :D

EDIT: I know these aren't max effort but still impressive as hell for bolt-ons IMO.

Yes I forgot I have Boss Cam tensioners also. My car is Magnum swapped and does 137 in 4th gear at 8k RPM. The MT-82 just didn't work for me. I busted 5 of them. One was built.

Ford20- good build buddy. May I ask why your not going stage 3 ported heads? Are you gonna be on E85?

Great thread! Im looking at doing an N/A build and then i may eventually spray my car. Its nice seeing that some people are still interested in N/A builds when its so easy to throw a turbo or supercharger on these cars and go fast.

I personally think these cars are very underestimated NA wise. Like I said I am gonna take this car as far as I can SBE. But at the same time I see how easy it is to go turbo.

Same here. I wanna see how much butt hurt I can cause around town with a NA coyote. 2 of my friends have turbo cars while two others are waiting to install their kits. There's also a paxton car and a TVS car so I know what the platform can to with boost. a bunch of gto's and camaro's around here seem to think that they can only make power with boost so I wanna show them what the car can do NA and then if I need some more power ill spray it. I don't have 1-7/8 longtubes but instead 1-3/4 but it shouldn't hurt me too much. My setup should be very similar to yours.

Fast NA coyotes definitely get the lsx crowd riled up.

Same here man. They sure do get a little mad. Most of the time they just turn off a side road lol.

I had a LS2 goat that was supposedly a HCI car that tried to run me the other night. either it had a really shitty driver or wasnt an HCI car because i put two or more cars on him before i let out. ive got a feeling it was a cam/exhaust only car with a shit driver

Bad driving makes the biggest difference, I cant imagine someone would oversell their mods, id rather say, "oh its just got a small cam" and have h/c/i then say its got all that and just a cam lol

Nice thread cory,

Too many sheeple take the easy way out and go boost with an auto on a muscle car... Its just too easy. I got a lot of respect for guys that row their own gears and sort their car out, NA.

One thing is missing, where have all of your videos gone?

The 1-3/4 should actually help, it gives you some extra torque down low. 1-7/8 is probably overkill for most coyote builds.
