Good looking gun. I picked up a XD 45 last week. Not sure if it'll replace my carry though.

I have the 9 and it is a damn pleasure to shoot. Two friends of mine swear by the 45. Not sure how a 3.3" barrel chambered in 45 even works, but people swear by it.

Edit: I don't mean reliability btw.

I've put 100 rounds through it, I've enjoyed it thus far. I'm a big 40 or 45 advocate.

9mm is one of the few handgun calibers I've never owned. I do like the idea of extra rounds compared to the 40/45, but I guess less carrying rounds give me a good excuse to practice more.

FN 1776.. common mods. Rail, forehand grip, single point sling mount, Timney trigger, square muzzle brake (I thought it was unique)...just waiting on my Leupold to show up.

Why go with a single point sling for a long distance rifle? I understand the bipod and generally shooting in the prone position. But if you try kneeling or standing being able to use a regular rifle sling would help with accuracy.
