Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and currently in the market to purchase terminator Cobra.
I just want to have some idea whether the Cobra that I am interested is over priced or not and if I can get some advise, I would be very appreciated.

2004 Mustang Cobra Coupe. (not convertible)
Black exterior.
Two previous owners.
33000k miles.
Bone stock.
No signs and history of accident.
Selling at a dealer.
Listed at $30,000 USD

Please share you idea and it would help me much on the purchase.

Thank you!

Priced to high imho most produced color too. That's probably a 24-25k car at a dealer tops.

I'd agree. Listed around 25-26 and take 23-24 is where it should be at a dealer.

I did finance one last year if you want info as to where/how.
Yea I meant to quote you lol.
Did you finance through dealer or did you find your own credit union?
How much APR did you get if you don't mind me asking.

If I didnt have one already Id be taking a flight to look at the turbo 03 in the market right now. Dealer is a last resort if you ask me.

I wish...
Reason why I am trying to purchase Cobra through dealer is because of getting finance. I can't find any bank that will finance cars that are older than 8-10 years.. :(

I financed through my credit union in 2014 for my Cobra and didn't have any hassles at all. I got a great rate as well. I wouldn't bring myself to pay $6-7k over the value of a car due to financing at a dealership. If you can get financed somewhere, then you will be able to find a nice, low mile Cobra elsewhere. There are plenty of nice cars that pop up on this forum, but you need to be patient and wait for the right one.

Agree with everyone on being overpriced. I'd say $22-23k. A couple of years ago that would have been a $20k car but values have ticked up a bit

No normal bank is going to finance anything that old. I work at a dealer so I had other options.

We all overpay every day for just about everything we buy and don't think twice. A car is no different just in a bigger scale. There are better deals out there as I just bought a 1 owner 3k mile DSG Vert this week for way below that price, however if that's the car you want go for it.

Look up Pen Fed. I got mine financed with a killer rate a few years ago. They'll finance it if it has less than 100K miles, even an 03 Cobra. You have to open up an account with them on-line, but that is easy to do and is just a few bucks to see if you qualify with them. They will go like 110% over KBB (or something similar).

I agree with everybody...it does seem a little high....make him a lower offer.......I bought from a dealer made a lower offer and he accepted.... I think the dealers are a necessary part of the market they provide much needed liquidity and financing... I watched the saleen guys aggressively attack the dealers that had their cars ....well the dealers left, the liquidity left and the saleen values are horrid...forget trading those in....don't want to see this happen to our cars...the prices seem to be getting better for terminators, hey it's the gnx of the 80s...on the street whipping azz
