Did you guys see you can disable the awd system, they ran 3.6 to 60 and 11.6 with awd off.... shows how big awd is. Like others have said, the unfortunate part for a prospective owner is the M5 has pretty poor resale value.

I saw that. I also thought this might indicate what our cars might do with AWD. But 129 mph still seems high to me... wonder if it’s a ringer?

Definitely a Nice rider.

Have to wait and see when all the testing mags have a chance to test it. Still amazing for a sedan though

We get it bro, you're super cool and hate bmw's...
You don’t know my pain...

That’s what life looks like owning a M car out of warranty.

All fun and games until you completely shut off doing 70mph on the way to work.

Not too pile it on the BMW, but a friend of mine had one, (not sure of model), but it was a 2015. He said nothing but problems with it. He bought it used, I might add.
Traded it in for a newer used Chevy Colorado Z71.

"Switch to Sport mode and the audio system plays an enhanced version of the engine’s soundtrack that peaks at 80 decibels under hard acceleration."

And I thought Ford putting a "sound tube" in vehicles was stupid....

I have owned an M car out of warranty since 2008 and have never had any issues . Much more reliable than any New domestic I own.

New M5 looks to be a monster but I'm not a fan of the awd and discontinuing of the manual transmission. BMW was the last of the " drivers car " sedans but they got caught up in the numbers game like everybody else.

Yeah, I'm not big on that either.

Awesome. I really need another fast car. Being slow sucks.

This is nothing new. Resale has always been shit vs cost of new. Great for those of us that buy used. I love GM's resale values :D
