Nope. No offense taken. People are nice, they can't drive, the population is way to large, and what you said is true. I'm waiting for everyone else to realize this and move away to Georgia or Texas (as this thread indicates) so I can once again have a 10 minute drive to Daniel Island like I used too in high school. Then Texas and Georgia can explode in random areas, be filled with dumb assholes, and I can have my piece and quiet back of river living.
This already happened in Texas.

doesn't matter lol. You still have the NV laws. Nevada tax/pricing and gun laws.....****ing awesome. I go to Tahoe at least 2 times a year, I LOVE it.

Nice to visit but do not think I would want to live there. When we went it was wall to wall tourists. Traffic was terrible, but it does have beautiful scenery.

I was just in Mt P to visit mom last weekend. Holy crap. Bulldozers and earth movers everywhere you look, just like here in the RTP area of NC.

Side note: I said some pretty harsh things in this thread about where I live. I want to make sure nobody takes this as me insulting everyone else that lives here as well. Yes, drivers are bad (and that's my main complaint), but people in general are a hell of a lot nicer down here than in other areas of the US.

Come down here, it's flat out getting stupid. The roads can't handle what we have now and they're building new shit like mad.

You wont want to move to Washington then. You would probably learn to love it but it is getting stupid out here as well. I think we are adding over a million people every two years. I thought the population was 6 million but I looked at a recent chart that shows we are getting close to passing 8 million.

I moved from DFW to Houston almost a year ago. Houston traffic puts DFW to shame. It's crazy down here.

Huge fan of Charleston. I am originally from Summerville. Just outside of Charleston. Great climate and can get to the beach quickly and only a few hours fro mountains. I am in Aiken, SC now wanting to get back to Charleston but being in the Nuke field that is almost a no go.

OP what do you do for a living. Knowing your field of work helps. What do you like to do?

Cmon man, why would you condone more northerners coming here? lol. It will destroy our eutopia (minus the traffic).

If you dont mind 3 months of heat so bad it melts street signs, then Arizona might be for you! Lol, late October/early November to middle of April is beautiful. From middle April to October... it gets hot.

AZ is on my list for sure. I am glad you got out LOL. 105+^ doesn't bug me, I'm used to it. I love lakes and the water. I also love the desert and riding in the dirt. Hell, I could post a tent in the desert for 2 weeks and enjoy its beauty. Just need the right business opportunity =)
