I believe I am very good .
Problem is , I am currently without a shop , and building a house /shop as we speak .
I think you have been given some pretty good places to start your troubles shooting .
Take some time with a good code reader , that will give you live information , a fuel pressure gauge , and a vacuum gauge .

Salem is a hell hole for traffic , I would hate to see you get stuck on the freeway in this heat .just be methodical and take your time .

I have a professional scan tool, i get fuel pressure readings and maf voltage, and tons of other info but the problem is I dont know how to interpret all the info. You can come up to me with a project i have a 84x30 shop with a lift!

So i am down to thinking it could be weak coils if that can happen, i think coils either work or dont, or maybe a problem injector or 2. My temperatures at the collectors just before the first catalitic converters is 50 degrees different at idle for drivers side to passenger side, makes me suspect an injector.

Yes the springs came in the kit. I am still stumped. The car has an aftermarket intake that goes into the fender and attaches to the filter, i wonder if i am getting funny readings from the maf because of it.

That could very well be it. "Cold air kits" are 100% useless and often create problems especially without a tune. I know my tuner doesn't like them and that's why I'm running the stock 99/01 airbox down to a paper filter. And I'm losing 0 power from that. CAI is cosmetic only and its sad how much the industry lies about the power boost from CAIs and all the other bolt ons...

I'd put it back to stock 100% minus exhaust and driveline mods like gears.

I'm sure earlier that you said you cleaned the MAF, but I just read a post on the SN95 forum about a guy complaining about the same thing. He changed coils, wires (his is not COP), and plugs. After all that it still was flat. Cleaned the MAF, problem gone.

Yes i did clean the maf, 2 times. If anyone has a stock intake i would love to buy it! Will a GT work?

Big thanks to Ashley, we spent some time on the phone and did alot of trouble shooting. I am still in the same boat but did rule out some things. I cannot find my vac gauge to rule out a leak, but i am still down to maybe injectors or intake, or muffler bearing.

GT intake tube is completely different, no it won't work. I got mine on ebay or I think $180 shipped and that included the OEM MAF. Injectors are not stock either on yours?

A good datalog would really help here if you have a local shop or get in touch with a good remote tuner. What is your AFR at WOT?

Justin has a vac leak that is e richening bank 2 ...I believe after the propane test is complete , he will find it .
It is always a bit difficult trouble shooting from a hundred miles away .
But I think he will find it , without spending a bunch of money replacing parts.

Really need to get that aftermarket air intake out of the fender , and put the maf where it belongs

I ordered a set of injectors off ebay last night, for 60 dollars i can resell or just keep them depending on if it fixes my problem. I need to find someone with an a/f meter, that is a good idea. I guess i will also search for a better cai too, any suggestions would be very helpfull.

What injectors are on there now? What MAF is on there now? Is the car tuned? What all are ALL the bolt ons done to it?

Cobras came with #24 injectors from the factory, the MAF is the basic Mustang MAF that they all used. Airbox should remain stock, maybe just K&N filter for it but I personally use paper as it filters better and its dusty AF where I live.

Details, details, details and ppl can help you better.

Also, get a wideband installed on your car, google how to modify a firewire (or buy a pre pinned one from Lethal or whoever) to bug your wideband into a SCT device and then use the SCT Livewire programe to get a solid no shit datalog for the tuner of your choice. Because I doubt its the injectors unless they are not what the MAF is expecting them to be.

The only thing that is not factory stock is the pile o crap intake tube the pokes unto the fender. The maf appears to be stock. I have owned this car for about a week. I think a factory intake will be a tough task.
The first day i got this car it died about 3 times and i was getting o2 codes saying the heaters are not working, i now do not have any codes, the car sat for 4 years. I still have bank 2 side is 10% + on the long term fuel trim and 50 degrees hotter precat. The tail pipes spit a bit of black soot while i am idling and playing with my scanner. So all help is much appreciated!

I know 0 about the sct stuff, any links to learn about them would be great. Thanks all!

One thing Justin did not mention , is the handy Schrader valve modification the po gave him free of charge .
Sorry I did not get back to you today , house building is kind of a priority at this time .

How old sir ?
Politics are conservative ,
Weather is mild , mostly a lot of retired Californians here since the late 80s .
They have tried hard to make this into a little where ever they came from .
Fortunately, that has only happened north of the lane county line , all the way to Portland .
