So quarantine hit a perfect time to get into the rainy season. A lot of days stuck doing **** all and watching TV. Figure besides the now long dead Netflix thread start up a new one post up what everyone is watching and WHERE TO WATCH IT.

TV:
Westworld (Season 1 is good, 3 seems promising, just blow past 2)
Walking Dead (better than I thought, started in Jan)
Ozark
Billions
Waco (Not great but a good 1 sitting watch)

Games:
MGS5 will kill all the time you need
New MW is good, awesome campaign, limited time on PvP
Rocket League (it's a drug, can't help myself)

Please share ideas.

Watched 1917, I liked what I saw but wished there was more. Couple of other movies I’d like to watch are: the professor and the madman, bone tomahawk, Ford vs Ferrari, and one other that I can’t remember at the moment. I rarely watch tv unless it’s a movie I like. Games, I’ve been debating on getting Red Dead 2.

If anyone is a history buff, check out this channel:
The dude is doing a weekly video on the news of WW2. He started a year ago, with basically a newscast like "what happened" as if he was a news caster in Sept 1939. Every week he has a new video that goes one week into the future...so yeah, he will be doing this for several more years. Each week's video is about 10 minutes. I was following along weekly but now I'm like 6 months behind. He also does other little side news videos like if there is a part of the war that might need a little back story or so, he does a separate video on that.

Just watched Rambo Last Blood on Amazon Prime and was not disappointed. Probably not as good overall as Rambo 4, and obviously not the first 3, but holy shit was this last one brutal! You will not be disappointed with the action and carnage that is unleashed. It's a revenge movie also so that always makes it a little better too.

I've mostly been playing games though and the one I got deep into was The Division 2. It's not perfect but I love the more realistic approach they take with it. All the guns and gear are real models and brands and even the special equipment you get is based in reality somewhat which you find out way later on the the game. The game just goes on and on though as there are 3 major separate portions to it as you progress so there is hours upon hours of game play there. I just picked up Ghost Recon Breakpoint in hopes of it being an extension of TD2 being they are both from Ubisoft but unfortunately it is sort of like a cheap version of it. It has all the same content but the gameplay and movement is really water down. TD2 is much more precise and accurate when it comes to shooting while Breakpoint is more sloppy so trying to engage multiple enemies at a time is not as easy or fun as it is in TD2. It has vehicles and more freedom in what you can do but it doesn't make up for the lack of precision in the actual controls. Definitely recommend The Division 2 though.

Built a new PC and after some trial and error I ended up ALMOST getting everything from the group up. I only saved my power supply and video card. Everything else is new or lightly used. Its been a long time coming anyways since my cpu was from 2011.

Games:
Project Zomboid - great zombie gaming
and if your PC is good enough, there are emulators for Zelda breath of the wild.

Shows to watch:
Banshee (this was a Cinemax show, aka skinamax). Great show, highly underrated. Too bad it was only 4 seasons.
I saw a recommendation somewhere about peaky blinders, I'm gonna try to get into that next.

I like Damian Lewis, He's the one of the main if not main character in Billions, liked him in the early Homeland series too. Have to give it a shot tried many years back but didn't have the time I do now...

I'll have to check it out, you listen to Dan Carlin at all? Got into his stuff listening while I work. Doesn't mess with WWII much "it's been done" but his stuff on Japanese history and later the nuclear armed world is pretty good to a laymen like myself.

You cannot skip season 2 of Westworld and have any clue whats going on in the current season.

Yes and no, I watched it just not like I watched the first season (a few times). First season was nuts 3rd is cool but not as deep when it comes to existential/psych goodness. Maybe I need to give 2 a shot again. Just seemed like recycling a lot of the same stuff.

Thread is already delivering, have a lot of stuff to check out.
Thank Guys!!

Homeland died when they killed him off.
Liked Rupert Friend too (Quinn) and then...
Also, Fara would have made more sense as the honey pot in the later seasons.
Carrie and her issues get old fast.
It's like they are trying to ruin that show.

No, I'm not a HUGE history buff, but I caught my linked video, right as he was starting it, so I started watching. I guess he did WW1 a couple years back, similar setup, took him several years. His WW2 is in no way a small production. The editing, all the historic clips, the animated maps...it's 100 times better than anything I ever had in history class.
