I really fell in love with this car, but I think it’s time to let it go. The car is awesome but it’s a high hp power car and needs additional modifications/upgrades to keep these charge temps down in Texas and I’m not able to keep spending more time or money. I just don’t want to make a car payment when the car sits in the garage for most of the year due to the heat. I’m a cruiser, not a racer. The car runs very well, no noises, no smoke, no missing oil. Unfortunately, the clear coat failed under previous ownership, but I had the car totally resprayed (have pics of the process) with House of Kolor/PPG paint and looks fantastic (Screaming Yellow is $1200 a gallon). The interior is in exceptional shape with no tears or cracks, etc. Air conditioning works incredibly well. Comes with ALOT of stuff. Please feel free to text me 713-430-6209 if you are serious. Looking to sell but maybe consider a trade for a more stock 03/04 Cobra, Land Rover Defender or Toyota FJ40 (something more family oriented). Thank you for your time.

Man, I’m really sorry to see this car posted for sale. I’m sorry it’s been such a hassle since your ownership, I must admit you’ve dedicated a lot of time, and money into making her presentable, and road worthy. In no way am I saying this car isn’t running correctly, or has issues. Stunning car bud, GLWS! I hope to see you in another 03/04 cobra.

I think its maybe a faulty bypass valve. I love the car. I just want to move on to not such a high powered car.

Probably a new bypass valve
I read your posts in the other thread, as someone who is in Houston I can confirm IATs are through the roof right now and there’s not much you can do but wait it out a couple months. Good driving weather here is October to May which is a lot longer than most places driving season. The summer months are stupid hot and not great for cars.

I’ll see up in the 150s if I rip on it repeatedly in the summer here in El Paso.

I cringe when I see the numbers but I really don’t feel much of a difference from when it’s in the high 120s.

Now driving in the winter, there you can feel it.

So for what it’s worth, in normal driving for me my IAT’s in Florida where it’s about 96 degrees daily get up around here. In my hellcat they temp gauge even gets up to 208-212 and the fans kick on. It’s not uncommon in hot states.
