The tailpipes are fully polished as seen in the pic. There is a small dent on both mullfers that can be seen in the second pic. Other than that the kit is in great shape and sounded great on my car. It is the 2.5" kit that comes with the polished stainless steel 4" tips and no baffles. Kit retails for $800 plus shipping.

$425 plus shipping!

What did you use to polish it out? I have the same catback but with the newer style tips that are engraved instead of stamped. Kinda like those ones. Wanna trade?

Also, what exhaust are you running now?

It was a while ago but I think I started out with some 300 grit, then 1000, then 2000 then polished with Mother's. Took a full day but well worth it in the end.

The tips are laser etched, not stamped.

I am currently running a Flowmaster setup but want to switch to MAC. The downside is that MAC is on backorder for like a month.

Bassani doesn't offer an aluminized system... Stainless only.

Did the catback originally come with baffles or are they not offered with those tips?

And if your gonna go mac, why not keep all this piping and just order the flowpath mufflers to use with the stainless bassani kit and that let's you keep the nice big tips too. I am probably going to do that myself as mac sounds great but fits and looks like crap.

Bassani does offer an aluminized version, it's what they call their BX system. Less expensive. The cat back was on the car when I bought it. I just did the polishing so not sure about the baffles. And I have been considering the muffler swap but didn't want to deal with the welding business. Depending on how this goes I may ulimately do that.

I am looking for the 2.5" stainless kit.

Wow! Really? I didn't know that. I've never seen an aluminized bassani exhaust. Do they still come with stainless mufflers and tips or completely aluminized?
