My paint actually started to peel off. It's at the dealer now.

As for the wheelhop, I have 2 of the 4 MM poly IRS bushings installed, and the wheelhop is almost completely gone. It now hops less than my 95 Z28 did. Can't wait to get the other 2 done.

Congrats on your car. I thought my 99 was faster than my 03, until I raced the guy who I sold it to:) I would wait for the KB, and see what the GT twin screw does.

What do you mean 2 of the 4 IRS bushings? I thought there were only 2 rubber bushings to replace on our cobras. Do you mean the 2 14mm bolt replacements?

damn nice choice in color. I never thought I would own a red car. Got a damn good price on mine and never looked back. Everyday I look at it, the color just looks better and better. I am getting ready to start the modding drug myself.

good luck and enjoy it. They are sooooooo much fun.

so it will feel slower until your reach that point and then it seems to take until 2 to 3k miles before it really opens up.

I hit full boost with 200 miles on - in fact I blew a hose off and had the dealer put it back on more secure. They were laughing their a--es off. I have no problem getting the boost to kick in.

Well today was the big day.I went down and bought a new redfire Cobra.I have been wanting one for a while but have been trying to wait until I sold my 93 cobra but when I looked at the redfire it kept saying

TAKE ME HOME.

so I did:shrug:

Overall I like the car but its tuff to tell with only 80 miles on the car.I will say one thing and I will argue this to my grave.

Stock for stock my WS6 is faster.I dont know why.Maybe I just got a fast one but it has run good since it was new.

OK I got to go now so I can go call Kenne Bell:lol:

Congradulations on the new car. Get a procharger! :)

I too am disappointed with the paint quality. I have a few nicks in front of the rear wheels and the clearcoat microscratches easily. Too bad, because I really love the car otherwise. I guess you just have to accept shitty paint on these cars.:nonono:

I haven't had any trouble with my redfire paint...except when I hit that guardrail.

Congratulations on your car! At first I was sick that I didn't get a sonic blue, but man, the color grows on you. And now, I wouldn't want a different color.

It doesn't show dirt too badly like black, it doesn't draw the "heat" like torch red. And in the sunshine it glistens!

Enjoy!

Congratulations! The car gets faster. I was disappointed in my car at first (I've owned a lot of fast cars). But it got faster and faster. Then I tossed my defective cats, and it got waaaay faster. Then I had the warped S/C changed under warranty. Fuggitaboutit!

As for the color, let me beg you to try Blackfire. I used Zaino and the paint never lived up to my old Laser Red. Then I tried Blackfire. The results are outrageous.

For high res photos of how good your car can look (and mine is 1.5 years old!) and why I like Blackfire more than Zaino look here:
