I think mine just seems to be luck of the draw. I spoke with one gentleman who had two shelby's both with mono blades and one had issues the other didn't. He purchased them at the same time.
And trust me I'm not saying the gentleman doesn't have a budget we all do. So did I but on my longblock I threw the budget out. And with Mike I spent less money with quality work. Either way good luck to you man I hope you end with a beast of a car sorry for the bs on your post.
No obviously you don't understand. I've worked on cars for better of 20 years and watched my customers who try to skate by cheap or on a budget end up spending more money. The issue is once you crater your motor all bets are off. No telling what has been destroyed. My point was you don't...
I did torque it initially on first install. I installed bps plenum, scj mono, jlt cai, 170 thermostat, tr6 plugs and magnaflow muffler with off road x. Had the car dynoned run great while I had it there took the car home and immediately starting surging. After smoke testing because I thought...
The response on the monos are amazing. Big difference from the twin blade. They just seem to be quite quirky. You may get one and never have a problem or get one with a ton of problems. I'm hoping accufab can fix whatever is going on with my mono.
The post was asking for advice. Not if you agree or disagree. Speaking with a very knowledgable engine builder doesn't cost you a dime. Just some time out of your day. Just saying unless you yourself build these engines on a daily basis? I'm thinking Mike's advice would carry much more than...
My best advice is do everything to the long block you can while it's out. Call Mike at l and m engines. Very knowledgeable in building these motors. He has built a motor for me and did a great job. Being on a budget is going to hurt you later trust me. On motor #3 I finally learned my...
The quality control on parts for these cars is ridiculous. It's been 4 months I've been fighting issues with throttle bodies and intakes for this car. Previous cars and trucks I've had never had this many issues. Bit crazy for such expensive parts.
Spoke with vmp on the twin 67mm. The gentleman I spoke with said they have had one other issue possible bad gear set in throttle. They are going to send me another throttle out.
