I also run a 4” Anderson PP down into the fender well. Granted I am running the after cooler system so it’s not quite the same, but heres a pic to give an idea. You can see from all the scratches it’s a right fit, but it fits. And that’s with the thicker mishimoto radiator.

Just to beat a dead horse here, I also have a V1 on my car and it currently makes 560 through an aftercooler kit. I think you will be happy with the kit based on your goals, and are on the right path getting him under $2k. Definitely room to grow too as others have stated with upgraded impellers...

Parking lot shot from last year. Been away from the car since April, headed back to TX for Christmas and can’t wait to drive it.

Wasn’t that tight. Fitment feels right on; did not have to crank tensioner to full open position to slip on.

Ended up going with the stock Motocraft tensioner and putting the bigger pulley on. Original belt was a 113”, and ended up going with that again. She’s running strong again. Thanks for all the good info as always.

So stock tensioner and replace with the bigger pulley? Or I can just use the stock tensioner and pulley? Interesting point on the belt length, I’ll check to see what the length was on the one that just went.

Piggyback question from this information. I also use the BGG 8-rib kit with my Vortech. My tensioner finally gave way and sheered this month though, and I need a new one. Based on the part numbers listed above can I just order the whole tensioner (1L3Z-6B209-AA), or do I need to order a new...

I found my stock mufflers in the attic and have been contemplating taking off the magnaflows and putting them back on in the hopes of quieting it down a bit. I have BBK Long tubes and off road X.
