Fair enough
Thanks for the input! I like the idea of the Charger, lower mileage ones are still hovering in the high 40's.. Hopefully in 6 months they could be low 40's.
If I needed a bed/four doors, that would be a very solid idea! I saw that Lebanon Ford has packages w/ warranty for 750hp for the A10 F-150's.. Pretty solid!
Have you had the chance to drive a Charger Hellcat? Slightly fonder of those, just curious.. Also do they handle as mediocre as the reviews say in comparison to GT500's and ZL1's? Thanks!
Apologies, I figured daily driver was a basic enough "goal". If "weekend warrior" needs some color added to it.. 1/4 mile once every 6 months or so, occasional roll races, and be able to turn without seeing an actual circuit track.
Mild bolt ons for mods, if any.
Hey guys-
Like the title says... If you had 40-45k for one car to drive year round as a daily, and "weekend warrior", what would it be and why?
I would lean towards a '13-14 GT500, but wanted to hear other people's opinions....
The E55 that I sold 6 months ago had 2 airmatic shocks blow out while I was driving on seperate occasions. On top of that the w211 chassis had a class action lawsuit due to fuel tanks and fuel senders leaking fuel. The supercharger was also on its last leg at the end of ownership. Not all German...
Thanks guys, I was really set on a c6z after driving one but all of your opinions are bringing me back to the middle. If I got the gt500 a 13-14 TVS would most likely find its way on there shortly thereafter!
That's a good recommendation, I just don't prefer a 5.0 to either the c6z or gt500. 5.0's are a dime a dozen and just do not excite me anymore when I see one. Good points though, thanks!
The only other cars I considered, that I could think of in that range, were 11-14 ZL1's and Cts-v's. I just came out of a German car and am trying to stay away from that maintenance nightmare, hence no German cars.
