I replaced the Fram (junk, I know NOW) with the correct motorcraft filter and the sounds went away. There was a thread on this months ago about the right size bypass in the filter for the correct flow (something like that).

Looks like good cold weather for low ETs. I will be heading there tomorrow morning. The track opens at 11:00 am, which means they probably won't start running until 1:00 pm.

Tremec's tech support told me on the phone that our '03 Cobras have Mobil 1 synthetic ATF in our T-56 trannies. If this is the case, what would be the benefit in changing to the Red Line or Royal Purple products?

I am looking at the UPR cold air intake for my '03 Cobra. Both of my LS1 cars got a good .2 shaved off ther ET in the 1/4 from going to an aftermarket airbox. Can I expect this kind of gains on the Mustang?
