Thanks for sharing the info on the Hacker 95r. I still have pictures of it from a for sale post somewhere and it was in as raced condition. I sometimes regret not buying it, I hope it’s going to a good home and gets out in public.
Thanks for sharing. I still have a picture of it in front of the Diner hanging in my garage. Super cool history. Weird to think that there’s a generation of R enthusiasts that might not be aware of this car. Please keep us updated.
Tom,
I put this same system on my car about 2 years ago. Your review is spot on. In my opinion this is the best option for these cars. Looks stock and sounds fantastic.
Sometimes I thinking about selling my R (#86) and then a thread like this reminds me how special these cars and the group of owners are and that thought of selling immediately goes away. Thanks guys.
It's one thing when you have a 50+ year old car that you've pulled out of a barn, then maybe I can see selling it in "as found" condition. But this car with low mileage and no dealer prep leaving it dusty seems pointless. If anything I think it gives the impression of neglect. I'm surprised...
Are you willing to ship or do you want local pick up? If willing to ship I’m in Maryland 21237. I’m okay with asking price but shipping would be the determining factor. How old are the tires? Thanks
Here's a lower mile example from Bring A Trailer that did not sell @ $41,000.

Note the background pictures - same seller for both cars.
