Might want to replace the arm. IIRC the float is grounded to the the brace on the pump. You should be able to measure resistance and see a change as the float arm moves.

My MPR block got 250 miles of comp cams break in oil. I guess you got to let the zinc do it’s thing. I wouldn’t personally risk my 16k built motor [emoji58]

I have one of those plug in anti-theft fob things that you could probably bypass with alligator clips. The install is clean but I've never taken the time to remove it.
That and Borla Quiets on a otherwise stock exhaust setup. [emoji58]
