I have two front rotors and an idler pulley for free. Throw in the Ford lugs nuts too if you want them. Come and get em! [email protected]
Rotors were lightly surfaced just to smooth out then I went to racing rotors. Changed the pulley for an aluminum.
Had a leak in mine that turned out to be the vent. Removed the factory vent and installed a fitting and piece of tubing and fixed. Tie strapped the tube up with a bend where it couldn't leak.
My 2013 needs to be about 4K+ rpm for best acceleration from a roll. If so then with his 3.31 at 60 mph in 3rd is only turning 3100 rpm assuming a 28" tall rear tire. Best to start in 2nd gear.
6th gear roll! Not sure what that will prove. You might have an advantage with torque/cu. ins. but he sure has the gear advantage. You with 3.31 and .50 6th and he 3.73 with .65. Good luck on that race.
My 2013 will spin the tires even with traction control on but not as violently as with...
And if you both can't hold traction at 20 mph then try higher but with tc off. Only real way to determine which has the best acceleration. Of course if you are both dead even at launch, traction or not as you gain speed, then you can determine the faster as you go high in mph.
Is there a test to determine if the sc bypass valve is working correctly? My log shows boost is down about 3-4 pounds from just after WOT all the way up to max rpm.
I bought a used SCT tuner. On the attached screen it lists 10 flashes. What does that mean? Maybe the previous owner has flashed his car 10 times? Does it have 10 tunes already loaded?
I installed an Odyssey PC680MJT for a 21# weight savings. I did have to remove the factory battery holder which is part of the savings. Did not see a convenient way with the holder in place. After about 2 weeks no problem starting. I'm sure if my engine had to grind for any length of time...
My question has probably been discussed but the search feature doesn't seem to work so I'll ask the question. What is a good choice for a light weight battery that doesn't break the bank? My battery weighs 34#. Awful lot of weight on the front!
