It seems my hood is hard to close. I must hold it about mid way up and let it go with a big thud to get it to latch properly. Is this a common occurance? Any adjustments to correct this? I want to get one of those hood protectors with the cool Cobra emblem but I'm afraid it may not close at all...

I just purchased a 2004 Cobra SVT with 9000 miles on it. I traded in a 1986 Corvette Convertable. Would someone out there have a list of preferred mods. Starting with the most important in relation to RWH. Any ideas would be helpful in applying my money to the right places.
