Not sure if this is a dumb question or not.... I'm assuming that if upper pulleys are smaller that a lower would be bigger in diameter. If so, does that increase the rpms to the accessories like the AC, alternator etc?

Alright, this may be a dumb question... but.. How do you increase boost on a turbo charger? Supercharging I get, you change the size of the pulley. I assume there is no pulley to change on a turbo charger if it is an impeller driven by exhaust gasses. I'm clueless here....

Just got thru reading the latest MT. The next gen vette will be coming out in 05. They say it will be lighter and be 425 hp with a z06 version pushing 500 hp.

Ok, not sure if this is a dumb question or not. I'm assuming that a smaller blower pulley causes the blower to spin faster thus creating more boost. Would the extra rpms on the blower cause it to wear out prematurely? What would the life of a blower be vs one with a pulley? Or would we even...
