Yeah, they definitely need to update their online catalog. They list a 2014 5.8 shortblock for $6440.79 and a 5.8 block for $2541.50 -- and I believe both of these haven't been available for years.
My Tasca order was cancelled, so the OEM motor mounts are no longer available from Ford. Which returns me to my original question: any recommendations on a quality aftermarket replacement?
When I tried ordering through my local dealer, they cancelled the order, stating that the mounts were no longer available. But after seeing your post, I did place an order with Tasca. Thanks!
They may not be. I thought I had done a pretty thorough search for the OEM motor mounts and even tried ordering them from a local Ford dealer but was told they were no longer available. However, as SCGallo2 notes, Tasca still lists them on their website and I have placed an order. Should know...
I've got over a 110,000 miles on the current mounts and, since I'm going to be replacing my K-member anyway and planning a significant power increase on my rebuilt engine, I think it just makes sense to replace the old mounts now, rather than wait and have to do so in another ~10K-50K miles.
I'm replacing my stock K-member with one from Maximum Motorsports and am searching for stock-style motor mounts to replace the OEM Ford units, which are no longer available. I realize that there are poly 'washer-style' mounts that are available, but I want to avoid anything that increases NVH...
Unfortunately, no. The problem turned out to be the Dynatech x-pipe, which is no longer available. I think my only alternative is going to have something custom fabricated, which is going to mean $$$. Ideally, I'd like to have an x-pipe made with the Kook's greencats (Harris County, TX still...
I’ve heard mixed reviews about the efficacy of the MMR GT500 oil cooler (which has -10AN fittings) in track applications. I don’t plan on doing more than a dozen autocrosses and a few HPDE events a year and would appreciate some feedback as to whether the MMR kit would be sufficient.
I’d also...
Looking for a new or lightly used catted (PN: 722-64320) or non-catted (PN: 722-64330) Dynatech 3-inch mid-pipe for a 2007-2010 GT500. Any leads appreciated. Thanks!

The Ebay engine does have the stock rods, but it has good compression and only 8.5K miles on it, so it seems in good shape. I don't plan on spinning the motor any more than 6500 rpm and my horsepower goal is fairly modest (700-725 rwhp), but I'll probably go with a built 5.8, just for the added...
You're probably right about sole sourcing both the shortblock and heads. If I go that route, the only additional things I plan to do are the bolt-ons (supercharger, injectors, CAI, etc.) and the installation. My understanding is that the 5.4 can't be overbored to a 5.8 unless it's sleeved --...
Staying with my 5.4 is certainly something I've thought about. It's not burning oil and has decent compression. But there is currently a 5.8 on Ebay with just over 8K miles that the salvage yard (with an excellent reputation) has confirmed is in good running condition with good compression and...
Since the car will spend 90% of its time on the street, my plan is to stick with 93 octane -- so I want a tune that's conservative enough that it will minimize the chance of detonation. But I agree, the 5.8 and 2R should give me all the power I'm looking for.
