I bought the Shelby GT500 Billet Fuel Door and decided to install it this morning. Very simple install, which took about 30 minutes, came out looking factory. Matches the Cobra Emblems and Wings, which also resemble billet aluminum. I followed the instructions which came with the kit...

Question: I got mine this weekend. Inside the tube and airflow, near both ends, is a raised seam, maybe .050"-.100" thick, where it looks like they joined two parts together. Would this interfere with airflow? Should I sand it smooth?
