i have a 97 cobra and im looking to start gathering parts used manley rods, unsure on pistons yet, clevite bearings, arp everything. but im real question is about the oil pump can i use a stock cobra oil pump as long as i stay below say 7000rpms? what about an aftermarket ati damper..do i need that?
as the title says my driveshaft is hitting the trans tunnel or specifically the ebrake brackets. although a hammer or grinding would probably fix this i dont want to do that just yet. it seems to me that my transmission is misaligned some how. if facing the engine i have about 2-3 inches of room...
im trying to figure our how thick the stock flywheel is and also how much can be taken off? i had mine resurfaced but im not sure if i need shim or not

so the input shaft sleeve on my t45 has split apart and is not 2 pieces instead of 1 whole piece, and i cant find a new one anywhere online. does anyone no where to get one?

what gaskets do i need to do the imrc delete? i have mmr delete plates and they have the imrc to cylinder head gasket for $50. then im pretty sure i need the intake manifold to imrc gasket from late model..what else do i need?
alright so in any gear at about 6000rpms i get what seems to be 0 torque/hp and the shifter will rattle like crazy.. what could this be? by the way i got the P1519 code "imrc bank 1 stuck closed" idk if that could cause the bad vibration in shifter/0 tq
