I just picked up 12 E350 bluetec Mercedes. I would consider a diesel car. I think i get 38 mpg on level road.

Pan sear ftw. I use wild salmon (kirkland/Costco) in med/hi pan with coconut oil. Half tea spoon oil, flesh side down first approx three min. Finish with skin side down until skin is crispy like a chip. Salt and pepper to taste. No need to mask quality cuts with over seasoning or marinading.

Its easier to keep the case unopened vs. nine quarts sloshing around in the trunk. They will most likely only use 7 at most since they dont drain the oil cooler.
