    Got the rebuilt ECU back and it lasted about a week before the same no start characteristics. Rebuilder is stumped, tried a different processor manufacturer and same result. 0-4 so far. Anybody know of any quality module rebuilders?

    I have a chart in pdf that shows interchangeability and that is what it says, 01 with 02 and 03 with 04.

    Grounds are good, sent the ECU back to the rebuilder.

    No but I am going to check it. It's the 3rd time it has happened. Ran great the last time with rebuilt module and then would not start after shut down. Something is failing or causing the module to fail.

    She wouldn't start the other day and scanner said the ECM was giving an error message so replaced and the truck ran like a bat out of hell till I turned her off again and she wouldn't start. Now no ECM error, all good, but error on the GEM which also controls the passive security system...

    I just found one that is nicely rebuilt with a lifetime guaranteed and is tuned to your vin number. That's the good news and the bad news is it's $2,800.
