It very well could be the temp change. 3.73’s have always been noisy in these cars also. I’ve had a whine in mine since I bought it 3 years ago and it came with 3.73’s and it now has 65k miles.

This is pretty spot on. I went through the Ford ASSET program and I lost my head a lot after getting hired as a drivability tech. I was nothing but book smart with barely any OJT.

If I remember correctly. There was a service bulletin on the cooler lines. It’s been a few years since I worked at the dealer but I do remember having to inspect a lot of them.

I've only lived in San Antonio for a year and the only thing I can say is to stay away from the area around lackland air force base.
