I'm not 100% sure on your car, but when working on other cars with mods. The tune usually turns off the monitor for that system and codes may still be there just no CEL. This would make sense if your check engine lamp is not on and you have active codes and not just memory codes. I know this...
The 4 codes which deal with the fuel pump driver modules A and B
All seem to be related to either no power or ground to modules or lost communications issues. I never wired in fuel pump boosters but seem to be related. The two other codes CHT and ECT will come up if engine is 50 deg. or below
The wrench light usually signals a fault with the electronic throttle control or auto trans which doesn't apply. Did anything happen to throttle body while off?
I have not looked at a newer EVAP system with no fill cap yet but, I would make sure the tank is still vented and not capped off. Air needs to go in as fuel goes out.
The pinch welds work the best and at our repair shop we made some small pieces of oak 2x4. Just use them against the grain to the pinch weld so they don't split. Just a little thing to keep everything nice.
Correct and mod. engines when it comes to valve train cost more compared to old OHV engines because your are buying 4 cams not one. You are buying 7 timing gears not 2. Not to mention tensioners and hardware.
I think JDM Has a custom rod that is made to fit the factory piston. As long as there isn't to much bore wear and there shouldn't be unless high miles or something bad happen. You could do just rods, rebalance and OPG's.
