We recently got into the 8's, at just over 170mph!

Still at it. Zach towed the car from Atlanta to Denver, where I live to run Street Car Takeover with the intent to get the 9 second pass. First pass, he wanted me to raise the boost (22 ramping to 24 PSI above 6.5k RPM - we made 830whp at 20 PSI) and annihilate a 9 second pass... But we...

That last pass was on track for 9's, but the stock graphite gaskets have limited passes. It pushed two fire rings out of the way and sucked water, so this happened. He's got new, copper gaskets coming and two rods to replace and we are still going to use this motor to get the firs 9!

The car will make some passes at Street Car Takevover - Atlanta this weekend. We'll see how it holds up... Traction will be an issue until we get the wheel speed sensors in to enable traction control. For now, the 2-step is working. :)

Stock rods are pretty damn strong... This is his old NA build. He has an O-ring'd, aluminum rod motor ready to go after we blow this motor. At that point we are going for 1,000whp. He got the clutch done and took it for a spin...
