Looking for a good a/c compressor for a 98' CSVT.

I am about to buy a 98' CSVT for $750. It is black on midnight blue I guess and is bone stock. I was looking at pre cut tint for it and was curious why it is labled 95-98 and 98-00. How can I tell which one mine is?
