For starters the car is completely stock currently and has 6,500 miles. I am looking at placing an order for the following mods, just looking for a little advice. Is this a good start? Is there anything else that is required for these? Also, best pulley removal tool as I would like to do the work myself.

EDIT: Updated Plans:

•JLT 123mm Big Air Intake
•2.50 Upper Pulley
•90mm Idler Pulley
•NGK Spark Plugs TR-7-IX
•2008+ Crank Pulley
•Lethal O/R H Pipe
•Borla Touring Axle Back
•VMP Tune

Original Plans:
Lethal Performance GT500 Pulley Pack w/ JLT 123mm Plastic Big Air intake

Lethal Performance 07-2010 GT500 Offroad H-Pipe (No Cats)

Borla 05-09 Mustang GT / Shelby GT500 "Touring" Axle-Back Exhaust System

Second round of mods I would like to add a clutch/shifter/driveshaft and heat exchanger. Third round of mods would be suspension work.

Any advice/feedback is welcome.

Definitely not a bad start. However...

Check out the links above. Slightly more boost (thanks to the slightly smaller pulley, 2.5" vs 2.6"), and a better set of spark plugs, for similar $$.

Lastly, the pulley puller tool. Makes removing the old pulley without damaging it MUCH easier. http://www.vmpperformance.com/product-p/vmpgt500tool.htm

The exhaust, I approve of. Those are very good choices IMO (although, exhaust is subjective). We also offer the Lethal Perf. O/R H-Pipe if you want to keep it all together. http://www.vmpperformance.com/Lethal-Perf-07-10-GT500-O-R-H-Pipe-Aluminized-p/lp-gt500orh.htm

All from the one place. :)

Off this forum. Check the market section, I've saved a lot of money on parts thanks to the gentleman on here. I'd recommend going with a 2.6 upper and a 10 % lower pulley.

Why not start off on the right foot with a tvs? You can bolt on the tvs and run a start up tune and branch out from there. Do it right the first time. The factory intake will be fine with the tvs for the time being.

You will be fine with stock muffs with an offroad h pipe.

You should also be able to rent a pulley removal tool from a member on here. Why buy one to only use it once? It's your money though, do as you please. I don't see you needing an idler pulley either but perhaps you do.

You will do all that and then buy a tvs later haha. The Eaton supercharger isn't worth a pulley swap with a tvs being so much better. i would swap blowers or leave it stock. (I kept mine stock a year and went right to tvs)

^+1000000 I agree completely. Those mods and power levels will get old quick. Might as well get to the meat and potatoes with the TVS. I'm getting ready to sell my complete set up if you're interested. Shoot me a pm. If not, there are always some in the market or even going with the VMP Gen II. No need to buy twice.

Agree with this. Went with a very similar setup that you have listed out. sans I added a VMP Throttle body and elbow vs the axle backs and used a different tuner. Put down 567, about 2 months later bought a VMP Gen II and ID1000's used and am much happier.

Dont get me wrong the list you have woke the car up, it added about 100 horse, but it still felt like it was missing something.

I picked up used parts over the winter and was able to sell them to cover all my cost so luckily i was just out a bit of time and no money.

There's an 08 crank pulley for sale in the market section btw

Thanks for the heads up. I actually ordered a new one for $189 last night.

And thanks to everyone for your input. I went ahead with my current plans as I think it will satisfy me. I drive the car maybe one day a week and honestly enjoy it as it is, just wanted a little extra "something" without going crazy. I will update after everything is installed with satisfaction level.

You will likely be very happy if you are just looking for a little extra.

You will. Not everyone wants/needs race car power. The pulley combo could get you around 530whp. That's pretty fun.

I did it too.

It's the lack of traction at 530rwhp on the street that is keeping my power mod list to just a pulley and tune. This car is just so powerful on the street, I couldn't imagine another 100rwhp!

Add another 200 rwhp and get it to hook with the right suspension and tire and youll be mind blown.
