Thump tensioner defect.

Loooks like my Thump tensoiner is broke or am i missing something? I can not find any pictures online from the right angle.

The guys who are making my car ready for the summer just send me this picture.

No wonder my belt fellt so loose.

Wow! They're supposed to have a lifetime warranty.

Definitely broken... there is a hole there that shouldn't be

This is the second time I have heard of an issue with the Thump pulleys.
Personally, I'd stay away from them. Crappy "quality". lol

I wonder what the warranry is on the VMP tensioner

Hopefully the same (Lifetime) as I just had a VMP installed on Monday.

It is 3 years old i drive my car only in good waether, and in Germany that is not often and I mostly cruise with it, beacuse the power scares the sh.... out of me.

VMP is 1 year. You won't break it. I broke a Thump as well. Guess what's on Christine now.

I use the one from Steeda. Haven't had an issue yet and I've had it on there for 8 years. It bolts right up. Just have to flip the pulley to bolt it on an 04 Cobra. It is the heavy duty one for an 05-10 GT. Should work
Great for a GT500. This thing is stiff. Serious spring in it.

That sucks Kempf. I will be back in Germany sometime early 2018. If you need some help dealing with American companies or shipping, let me know and I will help you out. I have access to an American Post Office, so Zoll and other importation/exportation issues can be worked around. Mein Deutch ist nicht sehr gute, aber mein frau ist Deutch.

Yeah. For the cost of repair and shipping, you might as well just buy a new one from somebody else.

directly translated yes, but instead of woman, it is meant as wife. Frau has a couple of meanings.
