Always wanted a convertible. Getting it next week, hopefully, its not too screwed up. Either way, it should be fun.

I was hoping that was some sort of typo. Judging by the treatment of this car, I figured whoever owned it would not have paid for a full color change. The engine bay and door jambs are all black.

Looks black or true blue. Once you clean it up it will be a nice ride

I just hope the motor is OK! Most of the other stuff should be pretty cheap, but 100 bucks here and there can sure add up.

The winning bid was $2,800.

Congrats man. Long time no see. Hey are you going to be in Dallas next weekend for the 1/2? Couple of us from SA are heading up there to run Saturday.

Hey man; yeah its been awhile. I'm pretty sure I blew up the Cobra in June at the Arkansas Mile. Its over at M2K getting checked out. So, no half-mile for me. Have fun; those events are great.

If you are still in ATX and need help with body/paint on it let me know! Local 99 Cobra Owner. Car looks like a great start, would have definitely picked it up for that price.

I just bought a bullitt that was donated for $1700 with 132k miles. It's in decent shape going to clean it up and flip it. Copart has some good deals just have to be patient and find the right car.

Damn sorry to hear that. I love your Cobra and I'm sure she will come back stronger than ever.

Take care man and good luck with this new project. Will be fun to cruise the hill country with the top down!

What was the total for it? After fees and shipping and what-not. I was looking at a Electric Green 99 but after all that, figured it wasnt worth the cost.

not at my post...
Nice grab! I loved my black 01 cobra coupe. I made 312 RWHP and oddly 320 RWTQ with longtubes, off-road X, bassani catback, anderson ford CAI and tune by Dom Orlando/Texas Speed works...not sure if I really believe that torque number, but had no problem holding its own with bolt-on 4th gen f-boats.

For the car, buyer fee, internet bid fee, and gate fee, I paid 3,580.00 Shipping, which I would have avoided if work wasn't so busy, was 753.00.

I might end up losing my ass if I have to pay for a new convertible top and paint job. We'll see.

Finally someone bought a car from copart!!

So if the winning bid was $2800, how much all in are you with all of their fees. Also, was it difficult to get your deposit back?
