This isn't going to be anything out of the ordinary, I just wanted a place to write down all my mods and log my build progress. Feel free to have a look around and leave comments/suggestions. I'll try to update this as much as possible or whenever I do a mod. After having my car for a little over a year, I'm just now realizing that I don't have a build thread so I can keep track of what I've done.

I bought my car on February 19th 2014 and it had a little over 9k on the dash. Coming from a very mildly modded 2001 GT, the Coyote motor in this car astonished me. The car pulled all the way through the powerband and it revved way higher than that pesky 2V. Every aspect of the car was better to me. The body lines, the handling, the gearbox and pretty much the overall driving experience. My only gripe with the car would be that it was way to quiet stock, but that's just a matter of personal opinion.

Here she is when I first got it on the road. I work at my local Ford dealer and I got the car for a steal. It was a one owner car and it had been babied by the PO. Of course I wanted to start modding the car immediately but I financed the car so mod money every month goes to my car payment. I enjoyed the car in stock trim for about a week, then the mod bug bit me. As I stated before, the stock exhaust was extremely quiet for my liking. I couldn't deal with it any longer so I ordered my Flowmaster Outlaw axleback. The day I received them was the day I installed them. I could have waited until the next day when I would've had access to a lift at work, but I'm an impatient person. I went to my buddy's house and installed them on my back with the car on jackstands. Sadly I didn't take any pictures during the install but it wasn't to hard. The first time I started the car with the new exhaust on it I fell in love all over again. Every aspect of the sound was perfect for me.

After the exhaust came my wheels. They aren't in the best shape in the barrel (inside) but the overall face of the wheel was in great shape and the chrome really pops on the red. I got these wheels for free and all I had to do was buy some new rear tires because the ones on the wheels were so bald. The wheels are GT500 reps with an 18x9 in the front and an 18x10 in the rear. I ordered Nitto NT555s for the rear and have been very happy with them.

After my wheels I decided the exhaust was no longer up to par. I took my car to my local exhaust shop and had them cut out my resonators and install some 3" piping in their place. The car surprisingly had a completely different tone all through the RPM range, especially at WOT. I was once again satisfied and have been getting plenty of smiles per gallon since.

Here are the pictures from the control arm install. I took em with my phone so the quality may not be that great but you get the idea. Nothing fancy anways. Here they are before I installed them.

I decided while I was under there to paint the axle as well. I missed a few spots but it still looks a thousand times better than it did.

I was a little worried when I set the car down that the relocation brackets were going to scrape on things. So far so good though.

I instantly noticed a difference in handling. Car feels a lot more planted under accel and hooks a lot better as well. I did notice a slight increase in NVH but I'm not complaining. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase and I'm highly pleased with the quality of the BMR products. As for my center caps I didn't think to snap any pics of those installed but you've all seen a center cap before!

My buddy works at the local collision repair shop smoked my tails for me. Didn't go to dark since cops around here have been cracking down on little things like that.

Also got my coil covers painted to match the car. Looks so much better than before IMO.Been working on a little project with one of my buddys that does body work. I like the look of the RTR decklid but couldn't find one anywhere. I decided this would be the best way to have the look of one and not have a panel on top of a hole in my trunk. Here are a few pics of the progress we've been making.

She'll be getting paint sometime this weekend. I'm going to paint the part between the tails black. Can't wait to finish this thing and show the finished product off.

Well here it is all finished.

Also

painted some interior pieces

I'm extremely happy with how everything turned out.

Bought a SCT X4 tuner for my car the other night, only paid $20. A local previous mustang owner had traded his GT and still had the tuner. Plan on getting a tune and an O/R H pipe soon. Also found that my rear sway bar links are bad. They have been causing a clunking noise in the rear for the longest time now and I finally found the culprit. Haven't decided if I'm going to go with aftermarket links or just get Ford ones.

Bought this as an early Christmas present to myself.

Going to be ordering a Lund tune when they go on sale. Waiting to put the H pipe on until I get the tune.

Great progress. Nice custom touches. Once tuned car will feel awesome

I dig the back of that thing. Custom and classy!

Very nice progress! I really like the back end. Also the painted interior pieces turned out great.

Thanks for all the compliments fellas. The decklid is my favorite part of my car as well.

Today I installed my new Boss 302 rear sway bar and end links. It cured the clunking noise and I'm so happy. Here's a side by side comparison:

The bar didn't really seem thicker than the stock one.

Deck lid looks outstanding. Good friend of mine is a body guy and we plan to do the exact same to mine.

Looks great.

Thanks man, it really wasn't that hard of a project, just time consuming. He wanted to get it just right cause he said that black shows any imperfections. He is one hell of a body guy and he can paint his ass off too. I would trust him to cut my car up again lol.

My tunes came in Thursday so I installed my off road H. Haven't gotten down on it too hard cause I wanna do some logs and make sure everything is okay. I have made a few small pulls and it is a lot stronger than before. Car is also much, much louder now. I'm running the cam tune and it sounds sick at idle. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I bought the last few suspension pieces I needed before I get my bags. BMR adjustable UCA, Mount, and adjustable PHB. Showed up Wednesday, now just gotta save a little more for the Airlift and I'm going to install it all at once. Here's a pic of the suspension components.

Congrats! car looks great. I installed that exact UCA and PHB...expect another increase in NVH , but it was a necessary evil.

Realized I haven't updated this thread in nearly 2 years. We have a lot to catch up on. Leaving off from my last post, I never ended up getting bags. I actually ended up going with BC Racing BR type coilovers. I installed those and my other rear suspension components all at the same time. It was the perfect setup being able to adjust height and dampening. I eventually also added the boss/cs lower valence with foglights. I also added a gt500 spoiler that my girlfriend got me for Christmas in 2016. I then got tired of having the factory fog lights deleted so I picked up a Cali special grille and I also put on a gt500/boss rear diffuser. I started to run the car at the track more and more but was getting nowhere on street tires so I decided to start putting my money towards better ETs than better looks considering the car already looked amazing in my eyes. I purchased a few items to help me out on the drag strip including some JMS 15x10 wheels, BMR driveshaft loop and JPC line lock kit. I ended up getting the car down to a 7.65@91mph in the 1/8th and a 12.17@113 mph in the 1/4. I was pleased and as the season ended I knew i wanted more. I knew running the car at the track was a risk so I picked up a 1996 Honda accord for a daily and began purchasing parts to lower my ET.

After the tracks around here closed I began purchasing go fast parts. I had originally planned to put a paxton kit on the car but plans change so I ended up finding a used ported CJ setup for a steal. I also purchased a bunch of other things to support the CJ and help out on the strip.

The last few weekends I've been wrenching on the car trying to get everything put on. Here's a few pics of the progress I've made. I'm shooting to have it all done by the end of February. Shooting for low 11s and maybe even a 10 second pass before the end of the year in the 1/4.

I like what you’re doing with the car.
If you really want to take full advantage of your LT’s and CJ manifold my suggestion would be to look into some L&M intake only cams. No springs are necessary and your engine will pull hard upwards of 8k with no valve float.
There are one or two write ups in the 11-14 Engine/Tuning section on this. I put some in my ‘12 and love them to death! My A6 shifts at 7850 and the engine loves the RPM’s.

Thanks man. I would've done those as well but it wasn't in the budget. I may eventually add those but it'll be down the road.
