Can anyone read one well enough to tell if engine knock is legit or false? I'm getting 1 degree or so of knock..once in a while at lower RPM... Wondering if the exhaust I had done could be causing it?

One degree is nothing to worry about but nobody can tell from a log. Best way to tell is in person on the dyno. Try to fill up at the best gas station by you with a can of torco mixed in. If you still get timing pulled it's most likely a mechanical issue. I spent months figuring out why mine was and it ended up being and loose header bolt.

On stock tune I haven't gotten any knock, I loaded a custom email tune, I get max 1.0 knock retard and some some negative knock, I know negative is a good thing, tuner said everything looked good, I thought most guys say you should never have any knock? The more I read, it appears if you have a sharp spike to 1 degree and it immediately recovers it is more than likely false knock? True?

Much of the country has a problem with shit gas. I had to go to three local stations before my knock went away while bone stock. I’d recommend running it down to zero miles to empty, then dumping in 5-10 gallons of 110 unleaded. Drive it for 20-30 miles like you stole it. Now datalog again. It will likely add more timing. If that’s the case bad gas was your initial problem. If the knock sensors are still pulling timing then focus on the exhaust system.
