Hey Group,
A question, I am stock upper and lower on pulleys and have around 12,000 miles.
Belt still looks good, but should I be replacing it soon? What is an average for what most people get before changing out the belt? It is 6 years old.
And anybody know what the best belt and length when replacing for the stock pulleys?
Thanks

Modern serpentine belts last a LONG time. Look at the back side and see if there are any cracks in the belt side with the grooves. If none, I wouldn't be concerned about going 10+ years on it.

I looked into this before and in the service manual it never says to change the belt at any of the service intervals. It just says check and replace as needed.

My 1997 f150 just shredded its first belt.. at 200+k miles and because a pulley seized up. They go forever.
