I just got off the "Tech Line" with Ford Racing and had an interesting discussion regarding this. It was immediately pointed out to me (as I previously hinted at) that there is likely zero issue with the spring changes (rate increases are pretty mild) and to look at the GT350 and the fact that FP had no issue with their spring kit and mag/non-mag dampers. I purchased these very springs for my own GT350 when I had it.

2015-2018 MUSTANG GT350 LOWERING SPRINGS

I didn't get far with mention of reflashing when I mentioned that I see they also sell Mag ride handling packs that include a Procal tool with a calibration file to be uploaded to the VDM. I find it interesting that a calibration file was necessary here. Seems the engineer that developed the kit, Andy Vrenko, has moved on from FP.

FORD PERFORMANCE MUSTANG MAGNERIDE HANDLING PACK

I can get through to some other engineers there as well as talking to some at DSC Sport. We'll figure it out.

If u can flash your VDM with the cftp cal it would be interesting to see if u notice any difference between base Mag ride cal and cf cal after spring install.

Just make sure if u need to u can go back to base factory cal for your shocks.

Well, if there is a difference in the dampers themselves (and there may very well be to match the calibration such as with the R model vs standard GT350) I may not follow a software change at all.

@Tob are you going to do a nice post for the mods you're doing? Like you've done in the past? They have helped me.

That is indeed the plan. I'm gathering everything in preparation for spring/warmer weather install(s).

Resonator delete from Lethal showed up today. Quality exceeded my expectations. Really nice piece.

Comes with clamps and bands to allow retaining the factory heat shield. Thumbs up Lethal for this one!

What would you do here? Just get a new set for a CFTP GT500 from Ford?

I don't plan on going that far as I'm quite certain that a parts department order for service dampers would be stupid expensive.
